Ivy-Rose Publishing, Inc. was founded in 2005 by Darren and Cassandra Ivy and its initial purchase was the Clay County News in Sutton, Nebraska. That newspaper was recognized as the top weekly newspaper in its classification by the Nebraska Press Association before being sold in May 2009.

Ivy-Rose Publishing, Inc. also includes the Doniphan Herald, another award winning weekly newspaper that was purchased in June 2006, and the Blue Hill Leader, which is a weekly newspaper that was purchased in June 2007. Two newspapers cover local news and sports in primarily Adams, Webster,Hall and Hamilton counties. Regular and online subscriptions are both available.

Nebvolleyball.com was started in 2009 and is the top source for statewide coverage of youth, high school and college volleyball in the state of Nebraska.
